Every Davaoeño is an Original with Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme (Philippines) celebrates the originality of every Davaoeño  during the #81stArawngDavao.

With its campaign “Every One is An Original,”the premium doughnut brand had an exciting deal for all.  For only Php149, Davaoeños can enjoy half dozen assorted Chocolate Glazed and Original Glazed doughnuts in all Krispy Kreme Davao outlets in SM City Davao (Ecoland), SM Lanang Premier and Gaisano Mall of Davao (GMALL) Bajada until Sunday (March 18).
Krispy Kreme at SM City Ecoland  is the only branch in Davao that has a drive-through window.
Krispy Kreme branches now accepts GCash payments.
Beyond the amazing deal, the celebration is very meaningful.  Did you know that  just like Davao City, Krispy Kreme is also celebrating its 81st anniversary?  Yes.  My beloved Durianburg was officially inaugurated as a city in 1937 too.
Everyone was welcomed by the Krispy Kreme team’s warm smiles.
Led by their multi-unit manager Mr. John Michael De Lara, Princess Payag and the rest of the awesome Krispy Kreme PH team, they invited 10 kids from various ethno-liguistic tribes in Davao Region in cooperation with Davao Peace Council and Humanitarian Organization for Peace Engagements (H.O.P.E.) Foundation.

The kids were in for a treat as they enjoyed Krispy Kreme‘s iconic Doughnut Tour; and they also got creative in decorating their own doughnuts.

I was personally touched by these kids’ stories.  Ms. Hope Fernandez shared that when they asked the kids’ parents for consent to join the activity, they did not know how to explain what a doughnut was because they do not know what it was.  Instead, they said that they will be making a cake.  It was also a first for some of the kids to enter inside a mall.
